Raphael Dahan, a New York-based digital artist and creative director of DDNA, has created a series of heads and one skull out of books. Nevertheless, the aren't exactly what it seems. Although there are some incredible sculptures made out of actual books, Raphael Dahan has decided to put his digital skills to the test to create what appears to look like physical artworks.

While the heads were created for Boekenweek Agency, the skull was envisioned for 3D Artist magazine. Each project, which was headed by Raphael Dahan, shows off an unparalleled skill with its comes to digital artistry, CGI and post-production. Strikingly intricate, the detail of each mugshot will impress many. This is especially the case since they involve the thin pages of an open book.
