Ramen noodles are so unbelievably versatile, but did you ever think of using them to create a dough-less pizza crust? The cooks over at the Serious Eats blogs have accomplished a culinary feat by creating the first ramen noodle pizza.
Ramen noodles are typically seen in college dorm rooms as the super quick and instant noodle soup meal that starving students eat on the regular. Now students and adventurous foodies alike can try updating their ramen soup by making this super cool noodle pizza. To get the noddles in a circular shape and at a crunchy texture, the ramen noodles need to be fried in a round skillet pan. To stop the tomato sauce from dripping through the noodle crust, Serious Eats recommends creating a cheese barrier by spreading a thin layer of cheese over top of the noodles. Add on your own toppings, tomato sauce and put the skillet in the oven till it's read to eat.
