Rainwater-Powered Homes

REGN by Benjamin Koh Harnesses Energy and Provides Fresh Water

A rainwater-powered home puts into perspective the wasteful energy majority of the world currently puts into use. It's a simple system that can make a vast difference to our eco-system and the environment in general. Granted, there are some drawbacks and difficulties to be faced, but even if utilized only a fraction of the time, a rainwater-powered home could change the world.

Conceived by Benjamin Koh, REGN is the name of this rainwater-powered home. It is a Red Dot Design Award winner that essentially generates useful energy from the incorporation of a simple addition to any existing pipeline. This particular design is modular, allowing people to add as many in succession as they want. It also provides fresh water.
