If you are looking for a recipe that will use up that box of quinoa you have hanging out in your pantry, these quinoa cookies are a sweet alternative. Created by Mel from the food blog Mel's Kitchen, the recipe for quinoa chocolate chip oatmeal granola cookies taste surprisingly good despite all the healthy-sounding ingredients. This means you can indulge without feeling quite so guilty.

Packed with protein and whole grains, these treats have a texture that's described as super soft and fluffy. While you can't really classify them as an actual health food, the quinoa cookies do have some healthier components. To try this recipe at home, you will need semi-sweet chocolate chips, dried cranberries or cherries, toasted slivered almonds, chia seeds, ground flaxseeds, cooked and cooled quinoa, rolled oats and other ingredients.
