The Play:5 actually measures the size and contents of a room, and automatically adjusts its settings to ensure the best possible sound is heard, one which is specifically designed for that location.

Sonos is so confident that music fans will be blown away by the experience, it isoffering a 100-day free trial of the £429 ($650) unit.

As well as the innovative room-measuring technology, The Play:5 uses digital amplifiers individually coupled with six speakers to help deliver its massive deep sound.

Buyers don't even have to rip, download or even turn on a computer to enjoy the purest most vibrant music as the speakers connect directly to the myriad of on-line music services.
