Seed-Based Salsas

This Pumpkin Seed Salsa from Trader Joe's is a Thick, Savory Condiment

Throughout the fall season, consumers are introduced to countless pumpkin-based products and Trader Joe's newly introduced a pumpkin seed salsa as an inventive way to put a fresh new spin on a classic condiment.

The Trader Joe’s Pepita Salsa brings out the crunchy, nutty and savory flavor of the seeds, which are said to add a rich thickness to the salsa that pairs perfectly well with the other ingredients. While some tomato-based salsas can be a bit on the runny side in terms of texture, this one's added seeds help to make the product even easier to scoop up.

The savory seed salsa is enhanced with sea salt, cilantro, garlic, onion powder, lime juice concentrate, as well as spices and chipotle powder to add some heat.
