The flavorful condiment is made from Mexico's guajillo, which are known for their slightly fruity flavor profile and their impressive level of heat. As Trader Joe's notes, "they tend to run 2,500-5,000 Scovilles, akin to a jalapeño." To round out the heat of the peppers, Trader Joe's Guajillo Salsa includes juicy tomatoes, red chili flakes, garlic, and chipotle pepper powder. This unique blend gives the salsa, a soft, smoky edge.
