Using paper waste and discarded pots and jars as positivie-image moulds, Studio Jo Meesters created the PULP collection. PULP came about as a result of the studio's research into new applications for paper waste.
They have added water resistant properties in the form of glue, which was added to the shredded newspaper and water and applied in several layers-once it is cut out from the mould it is glued back together and then treated with an epoxy resin. The PULP collection actually derives it's name from the mixture the studio used to create the vessels.
