Icelandic Yogurt Brand Smári is Launching Protein Coffee Drinks

Smári, an Icelandic cultured dairy product brand, is now expanding its offering with an all-new line of protein coffee drinks.

According to the brand, the Icelandic yogurt—also known as skyr—that it creates "has more protein per serving than any other yogurt in the US." Building upon its expertise in this area, Smári began working upon its "skyr coffee" as a blend of yogurt and coffee. While the functional meal replacement was introduced at Natural Products Expo West 2018, based on feedback Smári continued to refine the product's flavor to taste more like coffee, appeal to a broad audience and still share the benefits of skyr.

The Icelandic Protein Coffee drinks are offered in Keto Latte, Iced Mocha and New Orleans varieties, each of which contains 10 grams of protein per bottle.
