Microsoft's Project Murphy Creates Images Based on Search Queries

Microsoft used a machine learning algorithm coupled with the search capabilities of the Bing search engine to create 'Project Murphy.' Part chatbot, part image generator, Project Murphy allows users to submit hypothetical questions and churns out images that it creates as potential answers.

Most of the time, the queries posed to Project Murphy involve either a celebrity, a historical figure, or a fictional character. The site itself offers some sample questions: things like, "What if Charlie Chaplin was a baby?" or "What if Beethoven was a rockstar?" However, there's no limit to the potential images that Project Murphy can create. As such, many on the Internet have been using the machine learning algorithm to create mashup images of people and characters.
