The New Porsche Macan Offers Luxury In a Compact Form

The new Porsche Macan is an exceptional turbo-powered vehicle that the German automaker is expected to unveil to much fanfare and excitement at the New York Auto Show this year.

The latest and greatest version of the Macan will feature a 2.0-liter engine capable of pumping out 252 horsepower and 273 pounds-feet of torque. The engine is hooked up to a regular seven-speed PDK dual-clutch transmission that comes equipped with Auto Start Stop functionality. This setup allows the Macan to attain a top speed of 60 miles per hour in 6.1 seconds on its way to a top speed of 142 miles per hour.

Ultimately, this new Porsche may not be the fastest or most fuel-efficient vehicle ever, but will make for a fine purchase for many auto-buyers.
