Typographic Pop Culture Quotes

Emiliano Aranguren Turned Pop Culture Quotes into Typographic Works

Argentinean designer Emiliano Aranguren took a new approach to typography by using pop culture quotes. He created bold black and white images that depict iconic quotes from famous personalities by using graphic design techniques.

Aranguren makes the quotes attributable by placing them in the form of an object that easily identifies with the person who made the quote. For example, he used the shape of a movie camera the feature the quote “The good ideas will survive” from famed director Quentin Tarantino.

Another example includes the quote “Your focus determines your reality” from another Hollywood director named George Lucas. Lucas is known for directing the Star Wars films so Aranguren formatted the typography aptly in the shape of Darth Vader’s mask.
