The Pop Stick is a wristband selfie stick that is based on throwback 1990s slap bracelets. Still under development, the design of this selfie-assisting gadget looks to be a sneaky way to avoid selfie stick bans that have come into place in many public spaces around the world.
While some people have taken to selfie sticks, many are turned off by the fact that they're big, far from compact and look incredibly dorky.Tom Shrive of Arc Wearables was one of those people, so he took it upon himself to design an alternative. This device can be worn around your wrist and unfurled when you want to take a selfie.
1990s children will remember the joy of playing around with slap bracelets, and it is hoped that today's youngsters will pick up on that while still enjoying the ability to take selfies.
