Yelp Users Can Now Filter Their Results Based on Nearby Pokéstops

In response to the overwhelming popularity of Pokémon Go, Yelp has added a new search filter that allows users to look for nearby Pokéstops. This means that those searching for a bite to eat can now ensure that they'll be able to capture some rare Pokémon at the same time.

The new Yelp filter is available both online and on Yelp's mobile app. To filter results based on the closest Pokéstops, users simply need to search for a local business such as a restaurant or bar and then select the option titled 'PokéStop Nearby.' Yelp will then automatically pull up a list of places where users can run some errands and pick up some Pokémon at the same time. Yelpers can even contribute to the list of Pokéstops by checking-in to different locations on Yelp and letting other users know if this is a place that fellow trainers may want to visit.

Yelp's new search feature is just one of the many examples of how brands are capitalizing on the popularity of Pokémon Go.
