Cozy Corner is encouraging you to catch 'em all with the debut of a new nine-piece Pokémon dessert set.
Cozy Corner is no stranger to nine-piece cake sets, with previous sets including Marvel, Alice in Wonderland, and Pixar. The cake chain's latest set features a mini-Pokédex’s worth of characters in the form of nine delicious little treats. Though each Pokémon character cake is just as cute as the last one, standouts include the banana-flavored Pikachu cake, the strawberry custard Jigglypuff tart, and the muscat grape Bulbasaur roll cake. There's also a full-sized Pikachu sponge cake that boasts a whipped cream and caramel sauce filling.
The new Pokémon dessert set is available between April 5th and May 2nd, but in-store quantities are limited, so fans are encouraged to order online ahead of time.

What Makes This Trend Stand Out
- Licensed Character Culinary Collectibles
- Branded character-themed desserts transform ephemeral treats into collectible experiences that blend fandom with confectionery design.
- Limited-time Drop Culture
- Scarcity-driven, time-limited releases create heightened demand cycles and secondary-market behaviors around food products.
- Miniature Multi-flavor Desserts
- Assortments of small-format, varied-flavor items enable consumers to sample multiple profiles in a single purchase, shifting value perception from size to variety.
Sectors Adopting This
- Food Retail and Bakeries
- Specialty bakeries can reframe product lines as experiential, collectible offerings that drive repeat visits and premium pricing.
- Licensing and Merchandising
- Entertainment licensors stand to extend IP into perishable goods, creating new revenue streams tied to seasonal and promotional calendars.
- E-commerce and Omnichannel Ordering
- Integrated online pre-ordering and limited in-store availability generate integrated demand forecasting and logistics optimization challenges.
