Hasbro is Promoting Its Plush Toy Dog with the Battersea Dogs & Cats Home

To promote its plush toy dog Chatty Charlie The Barkin’ Beagle, Hasbro teamed up with the Battersea Dogs & Cats Home for a unique campaign that also spotlights the importance of animal rescue centers.

Chatty Charlie The Barkin’ Beagle is a talking dog toy that boasts a special "collar [that] translates barks to phrases." In the ad from Hasbro, the chatty plush toy is taken into the care of Battersea, one of the UK's oldest and most well-known animal rescue centers.

As one of the newest additions to the FurReal Friends family, the ad shows Chatty Charlie The Barkin’ Beagle quickly finding his forever home, just like many other dogs that are adopted from animal shelters. As Battersea Dogs & Cats Home's Ali Taylor says: "This partnership is a great way to educate children and families alike on the importance of rehoming rescue dogs."
