The 'PLAnet' Cup is Made With Forest-Friendly Paper and Biofilm

Following the introduction of the biodegradable chip bag (thanks, Sunchips) is this entirely compostible and biodegradable coffee cup and lid called the PLAnet Cup. The Australia-based Planetware created the PLAnet cup from forest-friendly paper and biofilm rather than the usual petroluem plastic from which normal coffee cups are made.

Since biofilm is plant-derived, each PLAnet Cup is completely compostable in any dump or garbage site. The PLAnet cup is white to make it easier for companies to add their logo--hear that, Starbucks?
