Berlin House Uses Green Shingles to Achieve a Digitalized Effect

This pixelated exterior wall appears on a house in Berlin. The facade was decorated with different shades of rounded green shingles to give it a digitized effect. This pixelated housing design would certainly make your house stand out in the neighborhood.

The tiled facade makes the Berlin building blend in with its lush surroundings, but this design could easily be translated into an urban setting.

Implications - With society becoming increasingly involved in the online world, reality is becoming more and more saturated with elements from cyberspace. In doing so, companies have the ability to infuse products with a sense of originality without having to venture too far from previous designs. Corporations would be wise to consider how to fuse the online and offline world to create products that are familiar yet refreshing.
