Offline Pinboard Experiences

Pinterest Manifestival Invited Guests into Real-World Pinterest

People use Pinterest to spark inspiration and then take that momentum offline to a thrift store, a craft supply aisle, or the grocery store, and the Pinterest Manifestival was a celebration of pinned ideas turned into hands-on projects. Taking a page from Gen Z setting their phones aside and getting creative in real life, the experience at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity gave attendees the chance to step inside a real-life Pinterest board and interact with the ideas shaping culture.

When guests arrived at the Manifestival, they got a Pinterest-branded phone sticker that said ā€œLess URL, More IRL" to set the tone of the event. On-site, visitors got a hyper-personalized dessert based on a prompt at the Pinterest Patisserie, discovered their personal aesthetic with handheld scanners at the Pinterest Visual Search Studio, and created a unique accessory at the Pinterest Style Lab.
