If you're an avid baker looking to test out a fun new dessert these ombre pink cakes are incredibly simple to make and they add a girly touch to your baked desserts.
The trick behind making an ombre cake is all in the layering. Depending on how many layers you'd like your cake to have, each of the layers needs to slightly vary in hue to give the cake that overall gradient effect when sliced. Begin by prepping enough vanilla cake batter for four individual cakes. Begin by adding pink food coloring to your first cake to create the darkest layer. From there you can work backwards and add less coloring to the other cake layers. Then once the cake is baked you can stack the layers in corresponding order with buttercream frosting.
