Let's Connect is a pilot project for seniors living at the Oshawa Senior Citizens Centres in Canada, and makes use of tablet-based game apps that are designed to stimulate seniors living with dementia.

This innovative project comprises seniors being given access to tablets loaded with 10 games, before being instructed on how to use them.

This pilot project for seniors aims to alleviate boredom, frustration and difficult behavior among seniors grappling with the challenge of living with dementia. Additionally, the initiative also helps to free up retirement home caregivers to carry on their work unhindered and with reduced stress levels, something which benefits both them and residents.

The project goes to show that modern tablet technologies and computer games have a world of utility that goes well beyond merely entertaining young people.
