Pierluigi Veronese is an Italian artist that turned to ice cream for inspiration in his latest series. The pieces were done in Photoshop, and show different flavors and shapes of the popular Italian treat.
Some of Pierluigi Veronese's designs include ice cream in the shape of a space ship, square-shaped looks and even ones that appear to resemble the game of Tetris. The artist also experimented with various forms of colors too, pairing reds and oranges together, as well as dark purples and maroons. According to DesignBoom, the work is meant to "remind one of a time without smartphones and technology at the beachside – when the only choice one needed to make was which flavor to choose," which is exactly what is done here.
