Ketchup and mustard are classic picnic condiments and Brooklyn Delhi is now putting a sweet, spicy and tangy twist on them.
Brooklyn Delhi produces premium Indian condiments that are developed by chef and cookbook author Chitra Agrawal and its newest creations include Curry Ketchup and Curry Mustard. While the Curry Ketchup is like a sweeter, tangier version of the brand's Tomato Achaar, the Curry Mustard is accented with cumin, paprika, tamarind, brown sugar and the brand's own seven-spice curry powder.
Soon, consumers will be able to find these reinvented condiments at Whole Foods. As Agrawal describes: "I’m hoping my Curry Ketchup and Curry Mustard will serve as a gateway to Indian flavors and get people excited about exploring the cuisine further."
