The Philo Streaming Service Will Be Available on Android

The Philo Streaming service is getting a native Android app. Previously Android users would have to access the service through a mobile browser. The Android app will be very similar to the already existing iOS app. However, the Android app will have some notable differences. In the iOS app, users could choose from Home, Live, Saved, Search, and Settings. Wheres the Android app will display options for home, Guide, Saved, Search, as well as an option for user profile. Other features for the Android app will include a section for recommendations.

The Philo streaming service will also get an app for Amazon Fire tablets. Philo has been working to extend its reach, with apps available across Amazon Fire TV, Apple TV, Android TV, Roku as well as iOS.
