Xamarin for Students is a package that helps students to sharpen their app development skills, experiment, improve and ultimately acquire the mobile skills that are so in-demand in the job market these days -- all free of charge. The package was initialized in fall of 2014, but has now been expanded to include support for Visual Studio, opening up new opportunities for budding app-makers.
Xamarin for Students is doled out on an application basis, with all students currently enrolled in a degree or diploma course in high school, college or university able to apply and stake their claim.
This program is based on the C# language programming language, and is designed to cultivate the next generation of C# developers. Students interested in programming will surely appreciate the ability to publish awesome mobile experiences and apps.
