PetSmart hired Mood Media to craft a PetsHotel playlist to help calm pets with anxiety as they stay in the boarding facilities.

PetSmart had Mood Media create playlists for both its stores and its PetsHotel, but the PetsHotel playlist was designed to reduce pet anxiety to make boarding a better experience for pets and owners. The in-store playlist is an upbeat music selection that helps to create an enjoyable shopping experience, while the PetsHotel playlist is more mellow to help create a calm atmosphere for the pets as they stay in the boarding area. The Mood playlists are set with automatic scheduling and include voice messages to help sooth pets with anxiety.
