These Peter Stults movie posters, which recast contemporary films with Hollywood A-listers of yesteryear, may just be the most impressive fan tributes I’ve seen in any discipline.
Not only does Stults capture the look of vintage movie promos, but each actor he’s chosen to fill the shoes of modern day actors is a calculated and agreeable choice. Who better to fit Mike Tyson’s role in The Hangover than the legendary Muhammad Ali? And his choice of casting Bruce Lee as The Matrix’s Neo would have made for a sublime performance. These cinematic creations are so intelligently made that it’s hard for film fans not to gush over their awesomeness. The delightful Peter Stults series is entitled ‘Movies from an Alternate Universe.’
