'PERCUT' is the name of an innovative barber shop for men in Tokyo that has a very smart assistant on staff—Pepper the robot.
At PERCUT, Pepper is able to offer a consultation that has men answer a few questions about their desired haircut. At the end of the session, Pepper calls up a photo that shows a preview of the suggested new hairstyle. Pepper provides an interactive and engaging way for men to step outside of their comfort zones and discover a new haircut that will hopefully be even more flattering than the last.
Outside of this environment, Pepper the robot is also being used as a waiter in Pizza Hut locations, a smart employee at Sprint smartphone stores and an attendant to suggest wine pairings in French grocery stores.
