Looking to make its smart home monitoring system even more comprehensive, the Peq Watchdog system launched at CES 2015 introduces a partnership with Zubie that helps track your car's activity too.
The system is set up with cameras, thermostats and sensors for everything from doors to windows so that you can keep tabs on exactly what is happening in your home. Now, with the Peq app and a device that plugs into your car, drivers will be able to monitor their driving habits and get notified of issues to do with the car, such as potential battery or engine trouble as it arises.
The most impressive thing about this newest feature announced at CES 2015 is that the Peq app will let drivers set rules. For instance, if a car comes within a certain range of the home, the Watchdog system is able to switch on lights and warm the house to greet you upon arrival.
