Katarzyna Soltysiak's fruit cages are a pear packaging concept that is both visually striking and practical. Drawing inspiration from the Japanese art of Origami, the containers feature a design that is collapsible and sculptural.
Each of the polymer fruit packs is geometric in shape, featuring undulating elements that are architectural in their look and feel. Fans of graphic design and architecture will fall in love with this pear packaging concept. While practical in its ability to protect fruits against bruises during transport, this branding concept is more artful than functional for every day.
Borrowing from 3D puzzles and Origami folding techniques, designer Katarzyna Soltysiak creates a glue-free packaging solution that is crafted out of a flexible polypropylene material that is easy to mold and manipulate.
