IPG introduced its PCR Air Pillow Film, a protective void-fill packaging solution containing 35% third-party certified post-consumer recycled content and 15% post-industrial recycled content. Manufactured in the U.S. at a TRUE Zero Waste certified facility, the film is designed to match the specifications of IPG’s existing AirSpace products.
The material is compatible with IPG’s G4, G6 and A3 Pro inflation machines and integrates with existing AirSpace delivery systems, allowing businesses to adopt the recycled-content film without replacing current equipment. IPG says the formulation is suitable for a range of void-fill and protective packing applications while maintaining cushioning and inflation performance.
For retailers and e-commerce shippers, the film provides a way to reduce virgin resin use while keeping familiar packing workflows intact. The launch reflects growing demand for recycled-content protective packaging that can support sustainability targets without requiring major operational changes.
