Have you ever seen a lamp that can design a room with nothing but light? Self-taught Polish artist Przemek Krawczyński created handcrafted gourd patterned lamps made out of calabash that do just that.
By day, the patterned lamps are beautiful unique sculptures that really help to give any room some character. By night, the light breaks through the lamps and leave the most hypnotic patterns on any wall within reach. It's almost like a festival when the sun sets and the lamps go to work.
The patterns are never repeated, which makes each lamp truly unique and priceless. They take about two to four months to create depending on size and can cost between $8,000 to $15,000.
Right now, Krawczyński's lamps can only be purchased directly from him, but he is open to proposals from art galleries.
