The Patchwork furniture system is a modern solution for cohabitation spaces to provide individuals with their own area to keep personal items stored and accessible at all times.

Ideal for shelters or even hostels, the furniture has a folding bed along with an interchangeable section that can be adjusted to suit individual needs for storage. The flexible design of the various panels allow users to change up how they want the unit to function; this allows for a more open air design or a privatized aesthetic that suit varying needs of individuals.

The Patchwork furniture system is the design work of Giulia Pesce and Ruggero Bastita in collaboration with Hans Thyge & Co; Politecnico di Torino, Department of Architecture and Design.
