Unexpected Polish Architecture for Shanghai Exhibition Hall

Many moons ago I went to the Expo in Lisbon and sneak previews like that make me really wish I was still a curator and being able to do things like that myself.

Standing like a giant piece of papercraft, this building is from Poland-based WWA Architects. To be fair, Poland is not a country you would normally associate with such stunning architecture.

Construction on this Shanghai-based exhibition hall will start next year.

Implications - There is no set date for its completion, but I'm impressed with this concept and design. It combines a futuristic swagger with standard avant-garde imagery. WWA Architects defines modernity with this concept.
