This clever pancake pan is able to make pancakes that have a waffle-like texture. Unlike a traditional waffle maker, this pan has no lid that is used to press create the waffle-like shape on both sides at once.
By pouring pancake batter into each of the molds, half of the waffle pattern is created at a time. The waffle pattern is added to the other side of the pancake by manually flipping it when it gets golden brown on one side. Each mold is about 3" diameter, which makes the perfect miniature pancakes.
This Nordic Ware pan is made of cast aluminum and is coated with a non-stick finish. As well, the pancake pan features a stainless steel "stay-cool handle."
