The Panasonic HC-X1000 is the first ever camcorder that is capable of recording 4K Ultra HD video at 60 frames per second onto a regular SD card. This product is targeted towards people used to 1080p shooters who now want to make the upgrade to 4K.
The HC-X1000 has a number of exciting features including three manual lens rings (zoom, focus and iris), infra-red night mode and top-notch image stabilization technology that eliminates image shakes and blurs caused by shaky hands.
The camcorder has a built-in WiFi transmitter that allows users to connect to the camera, control it and monitor it from a smartphone or tablet, using the companion Panasonic Image app for iOS and Android.
The Panasonic HC-X1000 camcorder is expected to begin shipping in mid-October, with global pricing details likely to be released closer to the release date.
