The Canon PowerShot V1 is the brand's latest point-and-shoot camera engineered with video content creators in mind to help them enjoy advanced capabilities in a decidedly compact piece of equipment.

The camera is equipped with a wide-angle lens and a new sensor that supports the brand's latest moods feature that will enable users to customize the look and feel of their video footage. The camera puts autofocus functionality in the spotlight to quickly keep an eye on items held closely to the lens, while the built-in cooling fan enables it to record 4K footage for more than two hours without running the risk of overheating.

The Canon PowerShot V1 is slated to arrive in Japan, Korea, Hong Kong, China and Taiwan starting in April 2025.
