Who knew that paint in water photography would look so good? Mixing paint and water to create this set of mesmerizing and dreamy images, Toronto-based commercial photographer Alaa Taher captures different colored pigments as they ethereally dance in the still waters.
Some of the paint in water photography images look robust and full of life, almost like they're exploding, some look scientific and cell-like and all of them have an utterly abstract vibe to them.
Creating his 'Water Color Project' by pouring paint into water on top of a speaker, the talented photographer then revs up the jams to get the beats from the speaker to cause motion in the paint that is slowly trying to making its way down to the bottom of the water tank. The result is a stunning series of images that capture both the notion of movement and calm.
