Created for Projects Watches, the timepiece was made to challenge perceptions by using straightforward design elements. The minute disc on the Overlap watch rotates and intersects with the hour disc every hour. This motion is meant to echo the visuals of early computer games and moves in a discreet but enthralling way.
The timepiece measures 40mm with a 20mm black leather band. The body of the Overlap watch is black IP stainless steel and features 3 ATM water resistance. The movement is a standard Japanese Quartz, which gives makes watch reliable and robust. A single dial is used to adjust the watch, further adding to the minimalist aesthetic of the piece.
