'Our Robocop Remake' Reinvents the Cult Classic Film Via Crowdsourcing

The Official Robocop Remake is due out next month and 55 fans and directors have teamed up to create their very own retelling of the 80s cult classic film with what they're calling 'Our Robocop Remake.' The original film, about a fatally injured police officer being engineered to an unstoppable crime-fighting robot by greedy and corrupt corporate bigwigs, garnered a large and devoted fan following upon its release.

The group behind 'Our Robocop Remake' were previously responsible for a crowdsourced remake of Footloose, and bring a variety of styles, skills and methods to this project. Featuring low-budget live action, animation and video game style graphics, this film is a fantastic mishmash of ideas bound to bring laughs to any audience and will fill the void for fans patiently awaiting the release of the Hollywood big screen remake.
