The professional artist Manu Cunhas, from Florianopolis, Brazil, has released an award-winning project titled 'Outras Meninas, which translates to 'Other Girls' in English.

The book's concept started out online, where women would send pictures of themselves along with captions about their relationships with their bodies, which the artist would then convert to watercolor paintings and post on her blog. The Other Girls project by Manu Cunhas features her work in book form. The project's goal is to bring out the artist's readings "about the beauty contained in the feminine history, and in nudes."

The Other Girls project highlights the complex, often times confusing relationships that women have with their bodies, and in their journeys to appreciating themselves.
