Anti-Poaching E-Bikes

CAKE Unveiled the 'ösa AP,' a Motorbike Designed for Anti-Poaching Rangers

Swedish e-bike maker CAKE has announced the launch of 'ösa AP,' a new off-road, all-electric motorbike designed to contribute to the brand's anti-poaching initiatives. Joining the brand's previously released 'kalk AP,' the new bike arrives with a robust, eco-friendly design that was purpose-built for traversing Southern Africa's varied terrain.

In fact, ösa AP was developed in collaboration with a South African wildlife college, which weighed in to ensure the bike was optimized for anti-poaching rangers. As a result, the bike is incredibly quiet and utilizes solar power to operate. Because of this, the motorbike can be used totally off-grid without the need for a traditional power source.

In addition, the bike features a built-in workbench and modular, clamp-on storage system that allows rangers to attach a wide range of tools, bags, and baskets to the bike.
