Oris’ newest ‘Oris Aquis New York Harbor Limited Edition’ watch is helping the Billion Oyster Project restore one billion oysters to New York Harbor to foster unique eco-systems in the previously polluted waters. The watch manufacturer will financially support the organization through the watch sales. The watch uses the color palette of the waters in the New York Harbor as its focal point, boasting a sleek forest green exterior and mother-of-pearl dial.
The oyster project will build a large eco-system of oyster-filled reefs using 6,000 lbs of oyster shells from several New York Restaurants by 2035. The watch will be produced in limited quantities of up to 2,000 pieces, complete with a stainless steel bracelet and a matching green rubber strap.
