Veggie chips are having a bit of a moment and Trader Joe's is expanding its range of veggie chip offerings with the debut of Organic Dehydrated Carrots of Many Colors. Not only are these new chips a better-for-you snack option, they also look pretty great in a snack bowl.
Trader Joe's new Organic Dehydrated Carrots of Many Colors are a fresh take on veggie chips. The snack consists of freshly harvested, multi-colored carrots in hues such as yellow, orange, white, and purple. Trader Joe's then cuts and peels the carrots before dehydrating them to a perfectly crispy texture. Finally, the carrots are sprinkled with sea salt for flavor. As Trader Joe's puts it, "You get a crunchy, gluten-free, two-ingredient snack that just so happens to offer its eater 11 grams of fiber and 3 grams of protein per serving."
