Optune is the name of a new skincare system from Shiseido that gives consumers the ability to highly personalize the products they apply to their skin for more effective results. Optune's digital skincare subscription service works with an app that plays an essential part in assessing the condition of a user's skin—with an original algorithm and collected environmental data, Optune is able to understand how various factors impact the skin on a daily basis.

Optune offers five skincare solutions called Optune Shots that can be dispensed as needed from a specialized Optune Zero machine. According to Optune, the personalized skincare system "modifies and adapts according to each individual’s skincare needs in real-time."

True to the way that a subscription service works, Optune seamlessly replenishes the skincare cartridges so that they can be used when they are needed.
