Community-Fostering Mixed-Use Developments

OMA's New Morden Wharf Development Receives Approval

The renowned international architecture firm OMA has been approved for its new Greenwich Peninsula mixed-use development.

The Morden Wharf development will sit adjacent to London's O2 Arena and the Thames river. After numerous years of designing and rigorous consultations, the Modern Wharf design will help maximize the riverfront's potential. The design balances residential, commercial, and public use in the hopes of creating a dynamic and highly visited destination.

The development will include public parks, 12 residential units, and numerous commercial spaces. Morden Wharf aims to create 700 new permanent jobs and 1,500 new homes - of which a portion will be affordably priced. This new mixed-use development design is contemporary and understated yet is sure to bring a much-needed sense of vitality to the Greenwich Peninsula.
