Texas-based aftermarket automotive tuning company, Hennessey Performance has never been too shy to admit its obsession with size, and this is very clear in the VelociRaptor Ranger, a larger and more imposing version of the 2019 Ford Ranger off-road SUV.
In this admirable tuning effort, Hennessey Performance managed to upgrade the Ford Range's output from 270 to 350 horsepower, while taking its torque up from 210 to 385 pound-feet, allowing the improved vehicle to zoom from zero to 60 miles per hour in a matter of only 6.1 seconds, an impressive feat for a vehicle this large.
Elsewhere, this off-road SUV's intimidating presence can be attributed to the additional four inches of height bestowed on it by Hennessey Performance's engineers, with the accompanying off-road suspension and enriched wheels making it clear that this is a vehicle designed for functional size rather than pure aesthetic presence.
