Obama supporters have been counting down the days until Inauguration Day for quite some time now, and this Obama Advent Calendar will help them do so in style.

The Obama Advent Calendar was created by Chris Whitehead, former columnist at the Chicago Sun-Times. It features Oprah as the Sugar Plum Fairy, John Edwards as the Red-Faced Reindeer, Jesse Jackson as the Nutcracker, and Bill Ayers as Frosty the Weatherman.

Implications - Few things unite consumers in humor more than politician-parodying jokes or products. One of the most effective ways a company can attract attention to its product is by featuring an advertisement that takes a humorous look at a politician's faux pas or slip-up. The company will generate a short-term and intense public interest, and it will embed its brand name in the subconscious of consumers for longer than the ad runs.
