Corpus Studios created the Oak Refuge Cabin, a modernly designed cabin-style home in Upstate New York. Made up for five connected units, this home features rustic architecture and interior design with high-end finishes. With large sliding doors to join the spaces, the home can be turned into one large open layout, or closed off into individual mini-cabins. Each room is lined with large, rough-cut boards, concrete finishes and brass steel.
The large, oversized windows offer a view of the surrounding forest in each room, making each room flooded with natural sunlight during the day. In the large living area, the designer decided to install a ceramic fire pit to create a cozy refuge. The Oak Refuge Cabin pulls different design styles into one luxurious home.
