The idea of nomadic living tends to either conjure up images of ancient tribes moving from place to place or indeed contemporary backpackers listlessly moving about from place to place, but a brand new living concept envisioned in Japan is designed to take the concept of nomadic living and give it a highly futuristic twist.
Developed by the well-known Japanese architect Kengo Uma, the so-called Grand Third Living Room nomadic living concept envisions an arrangement wherein a Plug-in Hybrid Toyota vehicle could be used to carry three lightweight yet durable trunks around. Once a suitable location is identified, the tents can be removed and erected, with the vehicle now acting as a source of communication and green energy.
This nomadic living concept may not replace traditional housing entirely but could be interesting as a camping or traveling solution.
